IT Project management

For me it's a combination of equilibrium and imagination. It's about balancing requirements against resources and anticipating everything that could go wrong.

To achieve this I follow some basic rules.

  • Begin  as quickly as possible. If you hesitate and your scope changes all the time, downsize your project to the essence, and stop waiting. Stalling will put bigger pressure on the overall project.
  • Work as a team: people need to be motivated and feel respected. Common trust is a valuable asset.
  • Centralised information management : everyone should have easy access to one source.
  • Detect delays early and react promptly by reducing the scope or adding resources
